ESTIMATOR / ADMINISTRATOR
We are a leading HVAC contractor based in Dublin and we are looking to strengthen our sales and contracts admin team with the addition of an estimator / administrator. The ideal candidate would have a proven track record in managing and co-ordinating tendering and estimating activities.
The role will be based in our Head Office at Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.
Duties will include:
– Appraising tender documents, RFIs and client enquiries as necessary
– Prepare estimates by completing take-offs from drawings/information provided.
– Full document control on each tender.
– Value Engineering and/or partial design works on tenders.
– Develop key relationships with suppliers and customers
– Managing quotation processes and reviewing quotations
– Ensuring the tenders are submitted and processed on time
– Assist in compiling the Technical Submission of inclusions, exclusions, clarifications and program of works
– Investigate and price Value Engineering cost saving where applicable
– Co-ordination with other departments
– Experience in Customer interaction role
– Experience with standard IT packages eg Microsoft
– Excellent language (written and oral) skills
– Excellent numeracy skills
– Ability to work in a fast paced environment
– Excellent communication skills
– Excellent interpersonal skills
– Excellent IT knowledge and skills
– Works on own initiative
– Energetic, consistent and reliable
